　　11.EnergyEfficiencyLabellingforDehumidifiers

　　11.1Scope

　　11.1.1.Clause11oftheCode,unlesstheDirectorprovidesotherwise,appliestoa

名贯彩票　　dehumidifierdefinedintheOrdinance,thatis,theproductsspecifiedinclauses

　　11.1.2and11.1.3.

　　11.1.2.“Dehumidifier”,subjecttoclause11.1.3oftheCode

　　(a)meansanencasedassemblyforremovingmoisturefromitssurrounding

　　atmosphere;

　　(b)includesself-contained,electricallyoperatedandmechanically-refrigerated

　　dehumidifiersthat

　　(i)usemainselectricityastheprimarypowersource;

　　(ii)operatebyusingthevapourcompressioncycle;

名贯彩票　　(iii)consistofarefrigeratedsurface(evaporator)thatcondensesmoisture

名贯彩票　　fromtheatmosphere;arefrigeratingsystem,includinganelectricmotor;

　　anaircirculatingfan;andadrainarrangementforcollectingand/or

　　disposingofthecondensate;and

名贯彩票　　(iv)havearateddehumidifyingcapacitynotexceeding87litres.

　　(a)mayalsooperatebyusingabsorbentand/oradsorbentmaterials;or

　　(b)areroomairconditionershavingdehumidifyingfunction.
